This article explains how to submit a number porting request for the Japan, including the required information, approval process, and porting timelines.
Prerequisites

We port Japan Geographic DID but only for Tokyo city. At the moment, we do not have any availability for another city. We will keep you informed and notify once become available in the future.

Letter of Authorization (LOA) Signed by the authorized user and/or number owner. The information on the LOA must match the authorized user name and service address held by your current carrier.

A scanned or electronic copy of the most recent phone bill (not older than 30 days) that clearly shows: Account number, Authorized user’s name and All numbers to be ported.

Address or identification requirements: Geographic numbers require a local address within the relevant geographic area corresponding to the requested number as well as supporting identity and address proofs Customer will submit to Callto365 the required address and supporting documentation before activating the number and shall keep the information updated during use.
How to request number porting?

Log in to https://dash.callto365.com

Go to Porting → Porting Submission.

Enter the number(s) or number ranges. For a single number, enter the same number in both Start of Series and End of Series.

Click Next (»).

Upload the LOA and the Phone Bill Copy

Select your preferred porting date. This must be at least 30 days (based on average lead time)

Submit the request
The current provider will review the request and either approve or reject it. Once approved, the porting date will be confirmed.
